About

To ensure long-term accessibility, interoperability and structured data governance, SUNDANSE project datasets are hosted on the Danube-Data Platform — an integrated environmental data infrastructure for the Danube–Black Sea region.
The platform was initiated within SUNDANSE as a structured project data hub and is designed as a scalable data network supporting cross-border environmental governance in the Danube Basin.

The platform:

  • Supports FAIR data principles
  • Enables multiple access levels (open, restricted, metadata-only)
  • Preserves partner data ownership
  • Ensures structured metadata standardisation
  • Allows scalable onboarding of future regional initiatives

The Danube-Data Platform provides the technical and governance framework through which SUNDANSE data is curated, structured and made accessible to researchers, authorities and stakeholders.
